Dismantling Rubber Expansion Joints
Rubber expansion joints as dismantling joints play a decisive role in the design and layout of pipelines and valves. They are an essential aid during the installation and removal of pipe sections and piping equipment. Thanks to their all-directional adjustability, the piping equipment can be fitted next to the dismantling joint, and the rubber expansion joint can compensatefor installation tolerances prior to being securely connected to the mating flanges. We differ between universal dismantling joints with light restraints to ease installation only and lateral dismantling joints with tie rods to restrain the full pressure thrust loads.
